Terms of use

Agreement

These terms are the agreement between you and the Armenian legal entity that publishes CutDoc, named in the legal notice. They cover the CutDoc mobile application and this website. For a download from Google Play, these terms are also the end-user licence.

If you do not agree, do not use CutDoc. Apple’s or Google’s terms also apply to a download from that store.

The product

CutDoc lets you open a PDF, a Word file or a photo of a page, review the personal data the app marks, and export a new file. Processing is on the device, without an LLM or cloud service. The privacy policy describes what the app stores and what CutDoc does not receive.

The application has no account and no in-app purchases. Availability depends on the store and your country. CutDoc is intended for users aged 16 and over.

No legal guarantee

CutDoc is a review tool. It can miss personal data. It can mark text you want to keep. You must read the export before you rely on it or send it.

CutDoc does not provide a legal opinion. It does not certify that a document meets the Law of the Republic of Armenia on Protection of Personal Data, the GDPR, a court rule, a bank rule or any other requirement. You remain responsible for the documents you process and for your decisions.

Your documents

You need the right to use each file you open. CutDoc claims no ownership of your documents or your exports. You decide where an export goes after you save or share it.

The export is a new file. CutDoc does not overwrite the original you selected and does not return that original as the anonymized result.

Licence

You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the application on devices you own or control, under these terms and the store’s rules.

You may not sell or rent the application or present it as your own product. You may not reverse engineer it except where a mandatory law allows that. You may not remove notices in the application. Open-source components shipped inside the app remain under their own licences.

Acceptable use

You may not use CutDoc to break the law, to infringe someone else’s rights or to hide your own unlawful conduct. You may not try to extract another person’s data from a device you are not allowed to use.

Stores and payment

Google Play and the App Store are operated by their own companies. If a store charges for the download, the store processes that payment. CutDoc does not receive your card number. A refund is handled by the store under its rules, except where the law says otherwise.

If you obtained CutDoc from the Apple App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) governs your licence to use the app, and these terms apply alongside it where they do not conflict. These terms are between you and the publisher, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app, and the publisher, not Apple, is responsible for any claim relating to the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Intellectual property

CutDoc, the cutdoc mark, the software and this website belong to the publisher or its licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership of it to you. Your documents remain yours.

Warranty

The application and the website are provided as available. To the extent a mandatory law allows, we do not warrant that the app will find every personal detail, that an export will be accepted by a court or a counterparty, or that the service will be uninterrupted.

Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty, right or remedy that the law of your country says cannot be excluded. If you are a consumer, you keep those rights.

Liability

To the extent a mandatory law allows, the publisher is not liable for loss that comes from relying on an export you did not review, from a finding the app missed, from a place you chose to send a file, or from the contents of your own documents.

This limit does not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for intent or gross negligence, for harm to life or health, or under mandatory product-liability or consumer-protection rules.

Stopping

You stop using CutDoc by uninstalling it and deleting exports you no longer want. We may stop offering the application or a particular version. Store rules may also end the licence if you break them.

Changes

If we change these terms, we publish the new version at this address with its effective date. A change applies only from that date, never retroactively. We announce a significant change on this site and in the app’s release notes at least 30 days before it takes effect, unless the change is required by law or needed to fix a security problem. If you do not accept a change, stop using CutDoc and uninstall it.

Law, disputes and language

The law of the Republic of Armenia governs these terms, without removing a mandatory protection of the country where you live.

Before going to court, please write to us so that we can try to settle the matter. Disputes are decided by the competent courts of the Republic of Armenia. If you are a consumer, you may also bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live when its law gives you that right, and you keep any right to use an out-of-court consumer dispute body available to you.

The English, Russian and Armenian versions are meant to say the same thing. If they differ, the Armenian version prevails, except that where you are a consumer and mandatory law so requires, the interpretation most favourable to you applies.
